Becoming a Merchant
Thank you for your interest in becoming part of the vibrant merchant community at Essex Street Market! In 2019 the historic Essex Street Market will find a new home at the Essex Crossing development, which is currently under construction directly across Delancey Street on the southeast corner of Essex Street. The Market will continue to be operated by the New York City Economic Development Corporation.
We are pleased to announce that 17 new vendors will join us in this space. Additionally, 2 new restaurants will anchor the new Essex Street Market. If you're interested in learning more about leasing a space at the new location, please fill out the form below but note that the majority of spaces have been leased.
APPLICATION PROCESS
We value the diversity of our merchants and recognize how essential they are in keeping Essex Street Market successful. In order to continue serving our diverse array of customers, we consider the current selection available in the Market and how a new merchant would contribute to our community's wellness through fresh, affordable food and prepared foods. Only applications for food and farm-related products will be considered, as we strive to maintain our position as a food-centric market.
