Do you offer individual and/or group tours?

We love visitors and take pride in our history as much as we take pride in the food and services offered.  Our tour operator, Turnstile Tours, offers guided food and history tours. We look forward to seeing you soon!

I’m interested in working at the Essex Street Market. How do I contact the hiring manager?

Each business is independently owned at the market. If you’re interested in working for a particular vendor, please contact that vendor directly. If you’re interested in a career at New York City Economic Development Corporation, visit www.edc.nyc/careers.

Where can I park?

A majority of our customer walk; however, our neighborhood has several on-street parking spaces (paid). There is also a paid parking garage directly across the street from us. How convenient is that?

I heard the market is moving -- when is this happening?

In early 2019, Essex Street Market and all its current vendors will move directly across the street to the new Essex Crossing development. Until then, the current location at 120 Essex Street remains open for business! Learn more about Essex Crossing here; if you're interested in becoming a merchant in the new market, please find more information here.
